چکیده

Herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1) is a normal pathogen that can infect human through skin or mucous regions. HSV-1 infects murine melanocytes Melan-A cell line, thus inhibits proliferation and induces apoptosis. Our study was sought to investigate the effects underlying mechanism of on epidermal melanocytes. The melanin synthesis tyrosinase activity were measured by content measurement assay. Immunofluorescent assay, real-time PCR western blot conducted measure relative markers, Isobaric tags for absolute quantitation used identify differentially expressed proteins. results revealed that, after infection, PIG1 cells shrank rounded, length dendrites shortened numbers decreased. inhibited in infection PIG3V cells. Meanwhile, expressions microphthalmia-associated transcription factor (MITF), tyrosinase, related protein-1, gp100 all significantly In conclusion, our firstly confirms inhibit melanogenesis.

A Preliminary Study on the Molecular Identification of Herpes Simplex Virus Type 1 in Iranian Population

Herpes Simplex Virus Type 1 (HSV-1) is a member of the Herpesviridae family that causes herpetic disease in human. During the last 25-30 years, many investigations have been conducted on pathogenesis and molecular biology of this virus in several countries. In Iran HSV-1 has been isolated from patients and detected using immunological techniques. In this study, we investigated the molecular asp...
